Although Hong Kong no longer have their ODI status following the ICC World Cup Qualifiers, some of their players still feature in the top 100 in the ICC ODI All-rounders player rankings, last updated on 31st Aug 2018 following the ODI played between Nepal and UAE in the 2018 Asia Cup Qualifiers.

In terms of Associate players, Mohammad Naveed (156 points) of UAE is ranked at #51 in the all-rounder rankings with UAE captain Rohan Mustafa on equal points at #52. A total of 13 Associate member country players feature in the top 100 player rankings.

If Hong Kong are provided temporary ODI status for the upcoming ACC Asia Cup in UAE, the players will get further chances to better their rankings in all of the rankings charts (batting, bowling and all-rounder), when the next update happens.
