The Hellenic Cricket Federation (Greece Cricket) is set to host multiple teams from United Kingdom to celebrate 200 years anniversary event of the first ever cricket game played on Corfu Island back in April 1823 with a game between the officers of the British Navy. The Federation will be organizing matches and special events from April 19th – 23rd at the Marina Cricket Ground and Liston Square, as they host the teams from British Army Cricket Development Team, Brigade of Gurkhas CC, Lord’s Taverners Corfu Team, Royal Household Cricket Team and Lords & Commons CC.
The local representation during the matches will be from the Women’s National cricket team, U19 Male development team, and a select Hellas (Greece) Combined XI team.
