The 2nd oldest cricket series between two countries is set to get a twist in the game’s shortest format as Guernsey and Jersey will compete in the inaugural 3-match “InfrasoftTech T20I Inter-Insular Cup” in Jun 2019 in Guernsey. Both Jersey (Global Rank#26) and Guernsey (Global Rank#35) senior men’s squad will be making their T20I team debut in the series.
The Inter-Insular, the traditional series between the Channel Islands neighbours, will also see the return of the 50-overs format in Aug 2019. However, with ICC approving T20I status to all members, both the boards have agreed to form the new T20I Cup, to be played in the shortest format. The series was played in the T20 format in 2018 to provide practice for both countries before the European sub-regional qualifiers in Netherlands.
Guernsey will host the T20I Cup from May 31st – Jun 01st at KGV playing fields and College field. The matches will provide much-required practice for both the countries before the all-important ICC T20 World Cup Europe regional finals in Guernsey in Jun 2019.

01st Jun 2019: Jersey vs Guernsey – 2nd T20I (Scorecard) & 3rd T20I (Scorecard)
Jersey will be playing Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) in two T20 matches on 27th May 2019 at Farmers Field to prepare for the Inter-Insular T20I Cup. Also, Jersey Women and Guernsey Women are now scheduled now to play their maiden T20I Inter-Insular match on 31st May before the men’s game.
