Belgium Cricket Federation (BCF) have launched the Women Cricket League as part of the 2021 domestic season for female players in the country, and the tournament has also attracted participation from Women clubs from Luxembourg and France. The four (4) team competition kicked-off with the first round of matches taking place on 15th August 2021 at Antwerp Cricket Ground.
Royal Brussels and Brussels Greens are the two competing clubs from Belgium, while Trois Frontieres CC from Luxembourg and Lille Flandre club from France being the other teams in the fray. All the teams will play each other in a single round-robin group stage format, followed by the semi-finals and finals stage and the first round of the competition saw them play in the 15-overs format.
