Men’s National squad of Botswana are currently on tour to Zimbabwe, where they are playing a series of five (5) T20 matches against Zimbabwe’s domestic franchise, Tuskers (Select XI) at Bulawayo Athletic Club ground from October 22nd – 27th, 2022. The tour is part of the preparations for the national squad ahead of their visit to Rwanda from November 15th – 24th, 2022 for 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Africa sub-regional qualifier A event.
The National squad had competed in the inaugural edition of Africa T20 Cup in September 2022 and will be well prepared to compete against the likes of Cameroon, Eswatini (Swaziland), The Gambia, Ghana, Kenya, Lesotho and Malawi for two (2) qualification spots from the sub-regional event into the Africa Finals in 2023.
