Scotland U19 Men’s team to tour Ireland for Celtic Cup in August 2022

Cricket Ireland (CI) will be hosting the U19 Men’s team from Scotland for the Celtic Cup series, which has been postponed for the past couple of years due to COVID-19 pandemic. The Scotland U19 squad will start their preparations towards next years ICC U19 Men’s World Cup Europe Division 1 qualifier, where they will be playing against Netherlands, Jersey, Italy, Guernsey and Norway. Ireland U19 have been given direct entry into the next edition of the U19 World Cup.

The Celtic Cup series will comprise of matches both in T20 format and 50-overs format at Bangor Cricket Club and Stormont from August 15th – 18th, 2022. Andre Botha and Jeremy Bray will be part of the coaching staff for the Irish team during the series.
