The Cricket Boards of Finland and Belgium will be hosting the three (3) sub-regional qualifiers for the European region for the 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in the months of June and July 2022. A total of twenty-eight (28) teams will be part of the qualifiers and the fixtures (available so far) for the same can be found here. Most of the countries have already played T20Is in the months of April, May and June (upcoming fixtures), with some more coming up in July 2022. Qualifier A consists of teams from Italy, Sweden, Finland, Greece, Croatia, Romania, Isle of Man, Cyprus, Turkey and Serbia. Qualifier B consists of teams from Guernsey, Austria, Luxembourg, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Norway, France, Czech Republic, Estonia and Switzerland, while Qualifier C will consist of teams from Denmark, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Malta, Hungary, Gibraltar and Israel.
The winners of each of the sub-regional qualifier will advance to the Europe Finals in 2023, where they will meet with Germany and Jersey, who were placed in the Finals after the conclusion of their respective Global qualifiers for 2022 T20 World Cup, from which they did not progress to the main event. Europe region has two (2) qualification spots available from the Regional Finals into the main event of 2024 T20 World Cup in the US and West Indies.
