Cricket Association of Thailand (CAT) will be hosting the Women’s squad from India’s state of Telangana (Hyderabad) from December 05th – 13th, 2022 for a series comprising of a one-off game in the T20 format, followed by three (3) games in the 50-overs format. The matches will have the Thailand Women Emerging squad take on Hyderabad Women, with opportunities being provided to the players on the cusp of selection for the National squad in the coming future.
Thailand Women’s National squad were recently involved in their first-ever WODI series at home against the visiting team from Netherlands, and the preference of matches in the 50-overs format with Hyderabad will only strengthen their unit for WODI matches in the near future, as Thailand Women look to secure their place for the next Women’s World Cup Qualifier based on their WODI team ranking.
