Israel Cricket Association got their Men’s national squad prepare for the 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Europe sub-regional qualifier in Belgium in June 2022 through the domestic T20 competition at home in April. In 2021, external factors like weather, game walkovers and COVID-19 pandemic situation proved to be a disruption in many games getting cancelled or abandoned during the T20 tournament.
Israeli men’s national squad’s last appearance in an ICC event was during the 2018 European sub-regional qualifiers held in Netherlands. In Belgium, Israel team will be playing against Portugal, Spain and Malta in their group stage fixtures to try and qualify for the semifinals. The national squad players were part of Inter-squad T20 matches held in April 2022.
