Jersey Cricket Board (JCB) will be hosting the knock-out stage of the 2022 domestic T20 Premier League on 27th August 2022 at Grainville ground. The competition, which is being sponsored by Brooks Macdonald, started on the 29th of June, and after the completion of the group stages, Farmers Caesareans registered four (4) wins in their six (6) games, while both Rathbones OV’s and ATF St Ouen Springfield registered three (3) wins in their six (6) games each during the group stages. RGA Walkovers club had a poor outing in the competition, with just one win to their name in as many games.
The National squad members are part of the three teams competing on the Finals day, following which they will play the annual Inter-Insular Cup match in 50-overs format on 03rd September 2022 against fellow Channel Islands neighbors, Guernsey. Farmer Caesareans are the defending Champions from last year’s edition held between April-May. Charlie Brennan (Rathbones Ov’s) with 337 runs, Josh Lawrenson (Farmers Caesareans) with 174 runs and Zak Tribe (Farmers Caesareans) with 130 runs are the top three (3) batters during the group stages. Charlie Brennan (Rathbones Ov’s) has had a brilliant season with the ball as well with 7 wickets, Harry Brooks (RGA Walkovers) with 6 wickets and William Perchard (Farmers Caesareans) with 5 wickets are the top three (3) bowlers during the group stages.
