Isle of Man Cricket Association (IOMCA) will be hosting a select Men’s squad representing Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) from June 22nd – 24th at King William’s College ground and Cronkbourne CC ground, as preparations continue for both the senior squad and U19 squad ahead of respective ICC qualification pathway events in the European region for 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup and 2024 ICC U19 Men’s World Cup.
The short tour will begin with the U17 team playing with the MCC team on 22nd June, followed by a game between King William’s College XI and MCC on 23rd June. The national Men’s team will play two (2) matches in the T20 format on 24th June at Cronkbourne CC ground. Isle of Man squad will be heading to Finland in July 2022 to take part in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Sub Regional Europe A Qualifier, for which the squad has already been announced. The U19 squad will be travelling to Guernsey in August 2022 to take part in the Europe division 2 qualifier tournament.
