Cricket Canada to host Nepal Men’s team in July 2022

Cricket Canada (CC) will be hosting the Men’s national squad of Nepal from July 01st – 05th for a bi-lateral series comprising of two (2) matches in the 50-overs format. The last T20I meeting between both the nation’s came during the 2022 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Global qualifier A tournament held in Oman in February 2022, while the last List-A game between them took place in Namibia in 2018 during the final edition of WCL division 2 tournament. Nepal’s team will play two (2) warm-up games against an Ontario provincial team on 01st and 02nd July 2022 to prepare for the matches against the national squad.

Nepal Men’s team will travel to Scotland after the conclusion of the series to take part in their CWC League 2 ODI Tri-series, involving the host’s and Namibia. For Canada, the one-day games are part of their preparations for the upcoming 2nd round of CWC Challenge League A group tournament in July/August 2022, when they host Men’s teams from Denmark, Qatar, Malaysia, Vanuatu and Singapore.
