Nigeria Cricket Federation (NCF) Men’s national squad are travelling to Zimbabwe, where they will play the select squad from domestic franchise club, The Rhinos, in a four (4) match T20 series from November 24th – 27th, 2022 at Kwekwe sports club. The tour is part of Nigeria team’s preparations towards the 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Africa Sub-regional Qualifier B in Rwanda from December 01st – 09th, 2022.
Nigeria Team have been drawn in group B alongside Tanzania, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Mozambique, Eswatini, Gambia and Cameroon, with top 2 teams from the group to advance to the Africa Finals. This will also be the first assignment for the head coach Steve Tikolo with the squad ahead of the qualifiers.
