Cricket Namibia (CN) will be hosting the 2022 edition of the Richelieu Franchise T20 competition from March 18th – 27th at Trustco United field. The competition will feature four (4) domestic franchise teams, with BA Blasting defending their title from the previous edition, which they won it after winning the final against King Price Kings in April 2021.
The player draft for the teams was held on 07th February 2022, and Cricket Namibia have announced TCM Sports as the Commercial Partner for the tournament, along with other domestic and International series to be held in the 2022 season. The Women’s players will also be in action with two (2) teams competing in a 3-match series during the same time along with the Men’s teams. Each team will play against each other in a single round-robin group stage format, before the knock-out stages of the competition. Namibia Men’s national squad players will be in action, after they returned back home upon completion of their CWC League 2 ODI Tri-series held in UAE in March 2022.
