Sierra Leone Men’s squad set for Africa qualifiers in Rwanda

Sierra Leone Cricket Association (SLCA) Men’s National squad are set to play their first T20 Internationals (with ranking points) in over a year, as they travel to Rwanda to take part in the 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Africa sub-regional B group tournament from December 01st – 09th, 2022. The team last played their competitive games at the same venue during the previous edition of the sub-regional qualifier in November 2021. Sierra Leone will be competing against Nigeria, Tanzania, Gambia, Ghana, Eswatini, Cameroon and Mozambique for two (2) qualification spots into the Africa Finals next year in Namibia.

The selected players in the National squad were chosen after a series of T20 matches were held during October/November 2022 during the National trials organized by the Board.
