The ICC approved T20 franchise League is organized by Cricket Council USA (CCUSA) and will be played at Central Broward Regional Park & Stadium in Lauderhill, Florida from December 05th – 13th, 2022. A total of 12 team’s will be competing for the trophy this year, namely CVUCC, Florida Scorpion, Clarion County Asia United, SAMP Army, Nepali All Stars, Stallions CC, Stallions X, Masters Cricket Club, Virginia Fox, UMMC Knight Riders, Tampa Tigers CC and Titans Cricket Club.
CCUSA Mahammad Qureshi said “We have increased the prize money and we now stand at US$150,000. We have been giving out US$100,000 over the years and now we have decided to increase this. The US Open T20 remains the most popular league in North America and we always look at ways of improving it. We are looking forward to great cricket from the 12 teams we have chosen.”
Players from Associate countries of UAE, Scotland, Netherlands, Nepal, PNG, Namibia, Oman, Malaysia, Germany, Canada and Spain have already registered for the player draft, with over 850+ entries already done in total.
