Sweden Cricket Board have announced that they will be hosting the Women’s Nordic Cup WT20I series from May 26th – 29th, 2022 at Guttsta Wicket Cricket Club ground in Kolsva. Women’s teams from Denmark and Norway are taking part in the competition. This will be the second trip to Sweden for the Women’s team of Norway, who toured last year in August for a 3-match series comprising of a solitary WT20I match.
Denmark Women will be making their WT20I debut in the ongoing tournament and the team made a short trip to Sweden in May 2022 to play a couple of T20 matches against a Swedish domestic club, Malmohus CC.
