Estonia Cricket Association (ECA) will be hosting the men’s national squad from Iceland at National cricket field in Tallinn from August 05th – 06th, 2023 for friendly matches in the T20 format, after the scheduled Baltic Cup tournament also featuring teams from Latvia and Lithuania was cancelled due to weather conditions and with one pitch not viable for playing at the venue. Cricket Board of Iceland do not have associate status from International Cricket Council (ICC) currently, and this game will be the first International game for the Iceland team in over 4 years. The Baltic Cup has been an annual affair between the Cricket Boards of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania since the last couple of years.
