International Cricket Council (ICC) have announced that Star India Private Limited and Star Asianet Middle East FZ LLC have been chosen to be their broadcast partner for the upcoming 2023 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier in Zimbabwe from June 18th – July 09th, 2023. The tournament will be played across five (5) venues in Zimbabwe, namely Harare Sports Club, Takashinga Cricket Club, Old Hararians Sports Club, Queens Sports Club and Bulawayo Athletic Club. Harare Sports Club and Queens Sports Club will be the TV broadcast venues, while Takashinga Cricket Club and Bulawayo Athletic Club will be the two live-streaming venues during the entire duration of the tournament.
With the schedule already announced for the tournament, the official warm-up matches for all the ten (10) participating countries will take place on 13th and 15th June 2023. Star Sports will be live broadcasting the matches in the Indian sub-continent with SuperSport broadcasting the same in the sub-Saharan and African region and Sky Sports in the United Kingdom, and the rest of the global broadcasters for both TV and online streaming will be announced by ICC shortly.
Apart from the below mentioned group stage matches, all matches in the Super Six stage and the Final will be broadcast on TV globally, while the position qualification play-off matches from 7-10 places for teams who did not advance to the Super Six stage will only be live-streamed.
