Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) will be hosting the Men’s and Women’s teams of England’s County Club Lancashire in March 2023, as part of the club’s pre-season tour ahead of the beginning of the 2023 English County season in April. Much like the pre-season tour that took place in March 2022, this year also the Lancashire Lightning (Men’s) and Thunder (Women’s) squads will play matches in both T20 and 50-overs format against UAE National squads at the ICC Academy and the Emirates 7’s Stadium .
The 7’s Stadium will host a T20 double-header on 15th March, as both Lightning and Thunder teams play a T20 game against UAE Men’s and Women’s teams. Lancashire Thunder will then play a couple of One-Day matches at the ICC Academy in Dubai before heading to India on 19th March to continue with their pre-season arrangements (training and matches) before returning back to UK.
