Malaysia Women team to tour Sri Lanka to prepare for SEA Games

Malaysian Cricket Association (MCA) National Women’s Cricket Team will be travelling to Sri Lanka from April 05th – 21st, 2023, and will be playing a total of twelve (12) practice matches against teams from Sri Lanka Army, Sri Lanka Emerging Team, SKY Cricket Club, and Sri Lanka Air Force to prepare for the upcoming South East Asian (SEA) Games in Cambodia in April/May 2023.

The travelling squad will be without Captain Winifred Anne Duraisingam and Vice-Captain Mas Elysa, who are currently taking part in the 2nd edition of the Fairbreak Global Women’s Invitational tournament in Hong Kong. The Malaysian team have previously toured Sri Lanka for similar preparatory tour in November 2021 ahead of their participation for ICC Women’s World T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier.
