Emirates Cricket Board (ECB ) will be hosting the Men’s national squad of New Zealand (Blackcaps) in August 2023 for a three (3) match T20I series, which will take place on August 17th, 19th and 20th, the venue for which will be announced in due course of time. The previous meeting between them came during a T20 game in 2018, which was a tour game during New Zealand’s visit to UAE for their bi-lateral series against Pakistan.
As UAE Men’s team prepare themselves for the Asia Qualifier for the 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup later this year, these matches along with the upcoming Gulf T20I Championship in Qatar will certainly help in fine-tuning their focus back to the T20 format, after a busy summer schedule comprising of mostly One-day International matches.
