Oman Cricket (OC) will be organizing the second (2nd) edition of Oman D20 tournament (in collaboration with ITW Consulting) from January 11th – 22nd, 2022 at the OC ovals at Al Amerat. The 8-team tournament will feature teams from Qurum Thunders, Amerat Royals, Azaiba XI, Bousher Busters, Khuwair Warriors, Ghubrah Giants, Ruwi Rangers and Darsait Titans. The teams will play each other in a single round-robin group stage format, before the knock-out stages of the competition.
The T20 tournament will be taking place alongside the domestic season of 2022/2023, in which the clubs are participating in various divisions (Premier and other below) in the 50-overs format. Ruwi Rangers are the defending Champions from the inaugural edition of D20 held in December 2021 and January 2022, after winning the final against Darsait Titans.
