Philippines Cricket Association (PCA) have announced in their 2022-2023 objectives, which includes multiple cricket tours for both the Men’s and Women’s squads in the coming months. The calendar also includes the South East Asian Games (SEA Games), which will take place in Cambodia in May 2023.
The Women’s national squad will be touring Cambodia for a WT20I series in December 2022, which will mark the maiden series for Cambodia’s Women’s team, after the Board was approved for Associate membership in 2022 Annual General Meeting of ICC. The Men’s squad and an extended ‘A’ squad will be heading to Australia in January 2023, and will undertake training sessions and participate in the Toyota Australian Country Cricket Championships tournament.
The Men’s squad are scheduled to take part in the East Asia-Pacific (EAP) Finals for 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in the 2nd quarter of 2023. On the domestic front, the Men’s and Women’s leagues will take place from October – December, with exact dates not yet announced for the planned events in 2023.
