The Africa Cricket Association (ACA) will be organizing the second (2nd) edition of Men’s T20 Africa Cup tournament in 2023, for which the regional qualifiers will take place to determine the final teams qualifying for the main event later this year.
The Southern qualifiers for the tournament is set to take place from May 27th – June 01st, 2023 at Willowmoore Park in Benoni, South Africa (which hosted the inaugural edition of T20 Africa Cup Finals in September 2022), while Cricket South Africa will again host the North West-East qualifier and the Finals respectively in December. Men’s teams from Botswana Cricket Association, Mozambique Cricket, Malawi Cricket, Swaziland (Eswatini) Cricket and Mauritius Cricket will be competing in the qualifiers, with the teams playing each other in a single round-robin group stage format, followed by the semifinals and Final.
Top 3 teams in the tournament will qualify to play in the finals in Johannesburg, which is scheduled to take place from December 11th – 19th, 2023.
