In case UAE doesn’t end up with a rank within top 11 T20I teams, UAE too will complete in the Asia finals.
…T20I Rank as on 14 November, 2022
What about UAE since they aren’t there in the direct qualifiers neither there is any mention of them in Asia qualifiers
Are the other ICC members in Asia – e.g. Iran, Mongolia, Tajikistan – not eligible for the competition or are they just not able to send teams.
Hello
Mongolia and Tajikistan have ICC Associate membership but do not have the required domestic set-up needed in terms of having minimum 8 teams playing 6-8 matches each season. Once they have that, they will be allowed to enter ICC sub-regional tournaments.
