Zimbabwe Cricket to host 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Africa Qualifier in September 2025

Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC) will be hosting the Men’s National teams from Namibia, Uganda, Kenya, Nigeria, Tanzania, Botswana and Malawi in the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Africa Qualifier in September 2025. The eight (8)-team competition will see the teams compete for two (2) qualification spots into the main event in India and Sri Lanka next year. Uganda and Namibia were direct entrants into the Africa Qualifier based on their final finishing positions in the 2024 edition of the T20 World Cup held in the US and the Caribbean Islands, while all the remaining countries qualified through three (3) sub-regional qualifiers held in 2024 in Tanzania (September – SRQ A), Kenya (October – SRQ B) and Nigeria (November – SRQ C).
