Nigeria Cricket to host 2026 ICC U19 Men’s World Cup Africa Division 1 Qualifier in March/April 2025

Nigeria Cricket Federation (NCF) will be hosting the U19 Men’s National teams of Kenya, Namibia, Uganda, Sierra Leone and Tanzania in the 2026 ICC U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup (U19 CWC) Africa Division 1 Qualifier from March 26th – April 06th, 2025 in Lagos for the lone qualification spot into the main event in Zimbabwe and Namibia. While Namibia have retained their position in the Division 1 Qualifier as the winners of the previous edition, Kenya and Uganda teams were direct entrants into the Division 1 Qualifier based on their finishing positions in the previous edition of the Africa Division 1 Qualifier in Tanzania. Teams of Tanzania, Sierra Leone and Nigeria qualified through the Africa Division 2 Qualifier held in Tanzania in August 2024.
