The qualification pathway for the twelve (12)-team ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 is confirmed by International Cricket Council (ICC) with Eight (8) teams gaining automatic qualification. The remaining four (4) teams will qualify via the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Global Qualifier, which will take place early next year.
Women’s Teams of Bangladesh and Ireland will be joined by Eight (8) qualifiers from the Five (5) ICC regional qualification pathway tournaments, in the Ten (10) team Global Qualifier. The Regional qualification tournaments started with the Americas region event in March 2025 in Argentina and the final event will be the EAP region event in Fiji in September 2025.
