Canada Cricket will be hosting the U19 Women’s National teams of United States of America, Argentina and Brazil in the ICC Women’s U19 T20 World Cup 2027 Americas Qualifier, scheduled to take place from 07th – 17th August, 2026. The upcoming qualifier carries additional significance for women’s cricket in the Americas region. During the qualification pathways for both the inaugural ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup in 2023 and the 2025 edition, the United States progressed automatically without the need for a regional qualifying tournament (the Qualifier events were cancelled) because no other eligible Americas associate members were able to satisfy the ICC’s Event Pathway Participation Criteria required for the competition.
Canada U19 Women completed a tour of Antigua in May 2026, and played a series of matches to start their preparations for the Qualifier at home.
2027 ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup Americas Qualifier Schedule (TBA)
Argentina: Mili Bestani, Vicky Lehmann, Julia Andujar, Ana De Castelli, Mili Garcia Hagen, Jacinta Valencia, Dasha Mastrangelo, Rocio Roquel, Sofi Batteria, Lara Finocchio, Mora Finocchio, Luna Olivera, Anna Reinke and Julia Santos
