The International Cricket Council (ICC) have announced the Europe qualification pathway for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2028, featuring three (3) sub-regional qualification events (Sub-regional Qualifier A, Sub-regional Qualifier B and Sub-regional Qualifier C) to be staged across Cyprus, Denmark and Finland in 2026. Denmark Cricket Federation (DCF) will be hosting their first-ever ICC senior level event after the successful hosting of the U19 Europe Qualifier in 2024.
Denmark Cricket will be hosting the Men’s National teams of Belgium, Estonia, Gibraltar, Hungary, Norway, Romania, Serbia and Türkiye in the tournament from July 08th – 15th,2026. All the teams have been divided into two (2) groups, which will follow a single round-robin group stage format, followed by the Semifinals and the FINAL. Scotland, who were originally scheduled to take part in this tournament, will no longer do so, on account of them replacing Bangladesh in the 2026 Men’s T20 World Cup.
Group A: Belgium, Romania, Gibraltar and Serbia
Group B: Norway, Denmark, Estonia, Hungary and Türkiye
