Oman Cricket (OC) will be hosting the 2024 ACC Men’s T20 Emerging Teams Asia Cup at Oman Cricket Academy ground in Muscat from October 18th – 27th, 2024. Emerging/A teams of Full members in the Asian region (India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan) will be joined by teams of Oman, United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Hong Kong, China in the Eight (8) nation event, who qualified as the top three (3) teams in the 2024 ACC Men’s Premier Cup held in Oman in April. Group A will feature teams from Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan and Hong Kong, China, while Group B will feature teams from India, Pakistan, Oman and UAE.
The teams will play each other in a single round-robin group stage format in the respective groups, following which the top two (2) teams will advance to the semifinals, with the FINAL scheduled to take place on 27th October 2024. Pakistan team are the Defending Champions from the previous edition held in Sri Lanka in July 2023.
