In a major move towards garnering more popularity for T20 leagues in Nepal, UAE’s national squad captain, Rohan Mustafa has been confirmed as one of the overseas professionals, who will be taking part in the upcoming RUSLAN Dhangadhi Premier League 2, set to be held from 31st Mar – 13th Apr, 2018.
Also making a repeat appearance after playing in the Everest Premier League, Hong Kong’s captain Babar Hayat has also agreed to play for Biratnagar Kings in the T20 league.
Rohan Mustafa will be representing Team Chauraha Dhangadhi in the 2nd edition of DPL. Other overseas players who have signed up for the tournament are mainly players from India, who have played domestic cricket at top-level in the country and some, who have had stints in the IPL previously. Oman’s Sufyaan Mehmood has also been roped in by Rupandehi Challengers for the T20 tournament.
Dhangadhi Premier League 2 Creative Director, Rajan Shah announced the overseas signing confirmed so far for RUSLAN DPL 2 on his twitter handle.

The schedule for the tournament was announced a few days back as well with Team Chauraha Dhangadhi set to clash with Kathmandu Goldens in the opening match on 31st Mar 2018.
For the first time in the history of Nepal Cricket, along with the live coverage of the tournament by AP1 TV HD, all the matches will be live streamed on iFlix app platform as well.
