Namibia qualifies for CSA Sunfoil 3-day Cup Final against KwaZulu-Natal

A historic moment for Namibia Cricket, who last played their group phase match in Feb 2018 and had to wait for more than a month to finally know that they have qualified for the final of the CSA (Cricket South Africa) Sunfoil 3-day Cup Final against KwaZulu-Natal.

The Final will be played across 4-days and Namibia squad will be heading to Kingsmead, Durban for the game scheduled to take place from Apr 12th – 15th, 2018. Namibia finished at the top of pool B comprising of teams from Free State, KwaZulu-Natal Inland, Easterns, Eastern Province, Boland and Gauteng.

Namibia registered five wins and three losses in their 10 matches which is played in both pool and cross-pool format across South Africa and Namibia (For Namibia’s home matches). However, Namibia will miss the services of their former captain, Sarel Burger and Craig Williams, who both announced their retirement after the conclusion of ICC WCL Division 2 held in Namibia in Feb 2018.
