Ntini joins Nigeria team as Technical Assistant ahead of ICC & ACA Qualifiers

Nigeria Cricket has the will and ex-proteas pace legend, Makhaya Ntini has the way forward for them. That is the theme of the arrangement made by both the parties as Nitni joins the National squad ahead of ICC and ACA (Africa Cricket Association) qualifiers to be held in Nigeria as Technical Consultant.

Vice-President of Nigeria Cricket Federation (NCF) and Chairman, Local Organising Committee of the T20 qualifier, Uyi Akpata, said “We have a number of things going well for Cricket now and the inclusion of Ntini to our technical team would be a big boost to those developments.”

Ntini looks forward to a fruitful partnership with NCF as he said “I want to appreciate the Nigerian Cricket Federation who invited me and based on what I have seen in the last few days, I am impressed with the talents I met on ground.”

With Nigeria hosting two back-to-back tournaments with ICC Sub-regional qualifiers and ACA Northwestern qualifiers, Ntini’s expertise will be of vital importance for the players, who look to secure qualifications spots to the next stage of Regional finals of both the tournaments.
