Rwanda Cricket Association (RCA) are organizing the Men’s domestic T20 competition from August 28th – October 01st, 2022, as the National squad members start preparations towards the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Africa sub-regional qualifiers at home in November 2022. The Six (6) teams competition will see clubs from Telugu Royals, Challengers, Zonic Tigers, Kigali CC, Spartans and Kutchi Tigers compete for the Title at Gahanga Stadium in Kigali. All the teams will play each other in a single round-robin group stage format, following which the knock-out stages of the competition will take place.
Zonic Tigers are the Champions of the RCA T20 cup tournament held in May this year, where they won against Kigali CC in the Final. Both the clubs were dominant against the other clubs in the competition by quite some margin and it needs to be seen whether the same trend continues in the ongoing RCA T20 League event.
