It’s one of the most unlikeliest partnerships that anyone could have though in the last 12 months, but in a few weeks from now, it’d be a reality as the World will watch West Indies’s Sunil Narine team up with Nepal’s Sandeep Lamichhane in the inaugural edition of the Global T20 Canada league, due to be played in Jun/Jul 2018 in Toronto.
Montreal Tigers do have the likes of George Worker & Sikandar Raza as the other two back-up spin bowling options for the team. The Canadian pace bowlers, Cecil Pervez and Dilon Heyliger will be expected to put early pressure on the opponents along with Lasith Malinga, Isuru Udana and Thisara Parera.

Although Sandeep didn’t play the Delhi Daredevils matches against Kolkata Knight Riders in 2018 VIVO IPL, he’ll have plenty to learn from Narine now being in the same camp. Global T20 Canada runs very close to Caribbean Premier League’s new season start, so it would be a welcome opportunity for Sandeep to play for and against the West Indies players, whom he would be facing once he turns up for St. Kitts & Nevis Patriots in 2018 CPLT20.

Much will depend how Sandeep and Narine will combine together through the early and middle overs for Montreal Tigers as their 8 overs will be crucial towards the outcome of the match for the team.
