International Cricket comes to Moara Vlasiei ground in Romania, as Cricket Romania host’s team’s from Russia, Turkey and Bulgaria in the 4-nation Continental Cup in July 2018. The tournament will be held from Jul 06th – 08th, 2018 and will be played in the T20 format.
All first two days of action will see three matches being played throughout the day, with the 3rd/4th play-off and the Final being played on the final day of the competition.

Romania players were involved last month in Cupa Romaniei, the first tournament of their 2018 domestic season. Cricket Russia recently had three nets and a new wicket laid on their Locomotive ground (LCG) for national squad members training purposes.
With uniform T20I status to all International matches between ICC members stating effective 01st Jan 2018, the next year’s edition of the Continental Cup will carry T20I status for the matches and ICC T20I Team ranking points as well.
