Knight Riders and Eagles to compete in 2018 Norwegian Premier League Final

Knight Riders and Eagles franchises have qualified for the 2018 Norwegian Premier League final after defeating Viking Warriors and Tigers respectively in the semi-finals, played on 30th Jun 2018 at Ekeberg gounds in Oslo, Norway.

While Tigers fell short by 17 runs in the 1st semi-final, chasing 234 set by Eagles, Knight Riders successfully chased Viking Warrior’s total of 210 in the 20th over of their chase. The Final will be played on 01st Jul 2018 at 6:30 PM (Local Time) and will be Live Streamed on NPL Facebook page and YouTube channel.

Eagles will again look to an dominating display with the bat from West Indies player Kyle Meyers, who is the leading run-scorer in the tournament with 434 runs from 5 games so far with 3 centuries to his name. Umar Amin (288 runs), Misbah Ul Haq (192 runs), Ali Shan (190 runs) and Ashar Zaidi (175 runs) complete the top 5 in the run-scoring charts.

Australia’s Chris Green’s team Viking Warriors have lost in the semi-finals but he leads the wicket-taking charts with 11 scalps from 5 games. Adil Mustafa (9 wickets), Imran Pasha (8 wickets), Usman Malik (8 wickets) and Shahbaz Butt (7 wickets) complete the top 5 wicket-takers in the tournament.
