Cricket Hong Kong selectors have announced the squad for the National “A” squad tour to Malaysia from 10th -17th August 2018. Shahid Wasif will lead the National “A” squad in Malaysia following his successful stint earlier this year against the same opposition.

Shahid Wasif (Captain), Ninad Shah, Tanveer Ahmed, Aftab Ahmed, Haroon Arshad, Aarush Bhagwat, Chris Carter, Kalhan Marc Challu, Raag Kapur, Mohsin Khan, Ghazanfar Mohammad, Rana Nasrullah, Jhatha Subramanyan & Mohammad Umar
Haroon Arshad had a successful tour with the “A” squad on their last tour to Malaysia and has already made it into the National squad for the Asia Cup Qualifiers, to be held in Malaysia shortly after the conclusion of the “A” tour.
Waqas Barkat, Waqas Khan, Kyle Christie & Deepinder Singh have been named as the official reserves for the touring party if there are any injury concerns or withdrawals during the tour. Leg spin bowler Jhatha Subramanyan is a new inclusion in the squad from the development program by Cricket Hong Kong in the past year or so.
