Cricket Bhutan have announced the 14-member squad for the upcoming ICC World T20 Asia “B” qualifiers, to be played in Malaysia in Oct 2018. Host’s Malaysia will be joined by teams from Nepal, Singapore, Bhutan, China, Myanmar and Thailand to compete for 3 qualification spots in the Asian Regional Finals. The tournament will take place between Oct 03rd – 12th, 2018.

Bhutan players will be playing in the domestic T20 tournament to further prepare for the event after their victory in the ACC Eastern region T20 tournament in Jan 2018 in Thailand. Jigme Singye will once again lead the squad into the qualifiers following his successful stint in the ACC tournament.

The squad is being coached by Damber Gurung and the players were chosen after a 10-day trial camp held after the conclusion of the domestic T20 tournament.
