Cook Islands Men to play T20 Tri-series in Auckland in January 2026

Cook Islands Cricket will be hosting a T20 Tri-series tournament, featuring their Men’s National Team, alongside two (2) Auckland Cricket Association (ACA) sides, namely Auckland Development team and Auckland Indians team, from January 04th – 10th, 2026 at the Cornwall Cricket Club ground in Auckland, for “The Kuki Cup”. Cook Islands Cricket Association (CICA) have a good relationship with Domestic Clubs/Franchises in New Zealand, and have toured the country for preparatory tours previously.

Cook Islands Men’s team will be in International action later this year in May, when they travel to Japan for the 2028 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup East Asia-Pacific Qualifier (EAP Qualifier), and this event will provide much required game-time for the team to start their preparations towards that.
