2024 International season will be a busy one for both the Men’s and Women’s National teams of Cook Islands, with the Cricket Board mapping out the calendar for both domestic and International tournaments to continue their National teams progress through the ICC team rankings. The year will start with both the Men’s and Women’s teams touring New Zealand, where T20 games have been scheduled with local clubs. The Women’s team are scheduled to participate in the 2024 Pacific Cup tournament in Auckland, where they will be playing against Papua New Guinea, Fiji, Samoa, Vanuatu and NZ Aotearoa Māori teams.
The Men’s team are scheduled to compete in the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup East Asia-Pacific (EAP) sub-regional qualifier in Samoa in August 2024. During the tour of New Zealand, both the teams will be hosted by Kumeu Cricket Club from January 12th – 14th at the Huapai Domain ovals.
