The 2021 Everest Premier League (EPL T20) overseas professionals participation is on par with Global franchise-based T20 leagues this year, with players (Former and Current Internationals and other T20 circuit players) coming in from Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, West Indies, South Africa, Canada, Malaysia, Singapore, Bhutan and England.
The Everest Premier League tournament will once again be played at Tribhuvan University ground in Kirtipur from September 25th – October 09th. The prize money for the competition has been doubled from the 2018 edition, and will be 5 million nepalese rupees (NPR) for the winners, with the runners-up to earn 1.5 million NPR.
Kathmandu Kings XI have signed up Shahid Afridi (Pakistan), Rahmanullah Gurbaz (Afghanistan), Ryan Burl (Zimababwe) and Janak Prakash (Singapore). Lalitpur Patriots have signed up Alex Blake (England), Sandun Weerakoody (Sri Lanka), Azmatullah Omarzai (Afghanistan), Oshada Fernando (Sri Lanka) and Ranjung Mikyo Dorji (Bhutan).
Bhairahawa Gladiators have signed up Tamim Iqbal (Bangladesh), Upul Tharanga (Sri Lanka), Dhammika Prasad (Sri Lanka) and Sharvin Muniandy (Malaysia). Biratnagar Warriors have signed up Sikandar Raza (Zimababwe), Chandrapaul Hemraj (West Indies), Rayyan Khan Pathan (Canada) and Dilshan Munaweera (Sri Lanka). Chitwan Tigers have signed up Mohammad Shahzad (Afghanistan), Seekkuge Prasanna (Sri Lanka), Karim Janat (Afghanistan), Danish Aziz (Pakistan) and Virandeep Singh (Malaysia).
The last but not the least, Pokhara Rhinos have signed up Sahan Arachchige (Sri Lanka), Asela Gunaratne (Sri Lanka), Kesrick Williams (West Indies) and Richard Levi (South Africa).
