The first two days of action in the 2018 US Open T20 has been nothing short of exciting. Where there have been insanely big hitting and bigger scores, there have been few which have not gone beyond the first few hours of the total game time as well.
International stars from West Indies, Canada, Scotland, England, South Africa & Canada have been on the forefront of all the major action as expected with the local clubs and players also doing their bit to pose a challenge to them. Most of the players are club level players and amateurs, and the chance to play alongside some known International faces will definitely help them to test themselves in the T20 format.
With 24 teams divided into six groups, and more than 10+ matches on a single day, it has been a thick and fast tournament happening at a quick pace. Matches are happening at five venues including the ICC accredited venue of Central Broward Regional Park stadium in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
DSport is live broadcasting the select matches being held at Central Broward Regional Park with the feed provided by MAQ TV, the network owned by Cricket Council USA chairman, MAQ Qureshi.
As expected, US All Stars have won all their three group stage matches and remain undefeated. Somerset Cavaliers are also undefeated in their group so far after their first two games. Atlanta Fire, California Bears and Yankee Royals CC have also maintained an unbeaten record in their respective groups so far with one game remaining on their hands.
