Italy Cricket to host 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Europe Sub-regional Qualifier ‘A’ in June 2024

Italy Cricket (Federazione Cricket Italiana) will be hosting the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Europe Sub-regional Qualifier ‘A’ from June 09th – 16th, 2024. Men’s National teams from host’s Italy will be joined by Portugal, Isle of Man, Austria, France, Romania, Luxembourg, Hungary, Türkiye and Israel in the 10-nation event. Group A of the tournament will comprise of teams from France, Isle of Man, Italy, Luxembourg and Turkey, while Group B will comprise of teams from Austria, Hungary, Israel, Portugal and Romania. All the five (5) teams in both groups will face each other in a single round-robin group stage format, from which the top team from both the groups will compete in the FINAL, while there will be position play-off games also scheduled to determine final tournament standings till 7th/8th spots.
