Bahamas re-emerge on International circuit in Bermuda tour

For Bermuda Cricket Board, it was a trial to test both players and facilities ahead of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Americas regionals finals in Aug 2019, as it hosted Bahamas national squad for a series of 4 T20 games and a solitary OD (50-overs) game.

The first three games were held at White Hill Field in Sandys Parish in western Bermuda, while the last two games were held at the National Sports Centre in Devonshire.

Bahamas seek re-emergence Into the International circuit, and with more matches and International exposure, would like to make a comeback into ICC regional tournaments in the near future.

The tour started off with the solitary OD game, before the 4 T20 games took place in the tour lasting 4 days from Jul 25th – 28th, 2019. Bermuda will be hosting USA, Canada and Cayman Islands on both the grounds in the Americas Qualifiers in Aug 2019 for the final 2 spots into the T20 World Cup Global Qualifiers in Oct/Nov 2019 in UAE.
