Mahato impresses for Regional XI as Singapore prepare for Challenge League

Singapore’s men’s National squad began their preparations for the upcoming ICC CWC Challenge League group A tournament in Malaysia by playing practice matches against a Regional XI squad, which consisted of two players from Nepal as well.

Nepal players Kishor Mahato and Amit Shrestha were part of the Regional XI squad for the two games. While Mahato impressed with his bowling, it was a disappointing outing for Amit, as he got out without scoring on both occasions.

Rohan Rangarajan, Janak Prakash and Aritra Dutta performed well in both the matches and will be expected to spearhead Singapore’s challenge in Malaysia, where they take on Canada, Malaysia, Qatar, Vanuatu and Denmark in the first round of Challenge League group A events.
