Singapore Cricket Association (SCA) have announced that they will be hosting a T20I Tri-series involving Nepal and Zimbabwe from Sep 27th – Oct 03rd, 2019.
All three nations will compete in a double round-robin league format, following which the top team in the points table will be declared the winner of the series. Zimbabwe will be travelling to Singapore after completing their tour of Bangladesh (will be their first time visit in almost 20 years), where they play in a T20I Tri-series against the host’s and Afghanistan.
Nepal will travel to Oman after the Tri-series in Singapore to take part in the 5-nation T20I tournament involving the host’s, Ireland, Netherlands and Hong Kong. Singapore will be preparing themselves for their maiden appearance in ICC Men’s T20 World Cup qualifiers in Oct/Nov 2019 in UAE.
Nepal and Zimbabwe last met during the 2018 ICC Cricket World Cup qualifiers. All matches will be played at Indian Association Ground and will be night matches, with start time at 7:30pm local.
