Koninklijke Nederlandse Cricket Bond (KNCB) have announced the schedule for their 3-match Cricket World Cup (CWC) Super League ODI home series against the visiting Pakistan men’s National squad in August 2022. The three Super League ODIs were earlier planned in July 2020, but had to be postponed following the COVID-19 outbreak. VOC Cricket Club in Rotterdam will host the 3-match ODI series on 16th, 18th and 21st of August 2022. This will be the first-ever bi-lateral ODI series between the two nations, although they have met thrice before in ODI matches during 1996/2003 Cricket World Cup’s and 2002 Champions Trophy.
Netherlands Cricket Board will be hosting four home series and play four away series as part of the CWC Super League Championship. They have already hosted Ireland, West Indies and England at home, and have played away tours in Qatar (Afghanistan series) and New Zealand. Their tour of South Africa was cut short after the completion of the first game in the series of three (3) due to COVID-19 pandemic and still need to be rescheduled.
